Core-collapse supernova found in VENUS JWST imaging on 2025 August 25 and announced in January 2026. It appeared in the first of three images of its host; the other two are expected only after several decades (about 60 years), the longest time delays known for a lensed supernova. No paper yet; details from the public DD proposal.
